Guide: Essential Tips for Beginners
Welcome to the thrilling world of World of Tanks, an online shooter where you pilot a tank, engage in tank-on-tank battles, and strategize to survive amidst the chaos. While the concept may seem straightforward, mastering the game requires attention to various factors, including attack angles, knowing when to push or retreat, and optimizing your tank setup. Let's dive into this handy World of Tanks guide to help you navigate the battlefield like a pro.
Armor
In World of Tanks, tanks are armored beasts. Remember, a tank without armor is essentially just a treaded car (the joke may not work, but the point stands). Understanding armor distribution is crucial when engaging enemy tanks. It is typically represented as three values: front/sides/rear, such as 80/55/55. If you use a shell with 70mm standard penetration, it will damage the sides but not the back of an enemy tank.
Where to Shoot
As you progress through battles in World of Tanks' Steel Hunter mode, you'll have the opportunity to upgrade your vehicles, becoming stronger with each new tier. In Steel Hunter, you'll earn Steel Seals, World of Tanks' own in-game currency, which you can exchange for unique customization items available in the mode's Store.
